Why Do We Want More For Less? – Podcast Episode 81

Most people have an inverted relationship with work. They associate work with something difficult. We’ve conditioned ourselves that work is tedious, has to be done, and isn’t supposed to be fun. And the more we do it, the more miserable we are. This is normal, right? Wrong!

This actually only happens when we are in a job we don’t like that isn’t fulfilling.

I have been getting ready for the re-launch of The Million Dollar Mentor. I created a free 5-day training, and in the group, I asked what everyone wanted — what they truly wanted out of life. And you know what the overwhelming majority said? They want to earn more money while working less. This isn’t shocking, right? It seems that everyone wants this. And I used to be the same.

Until I grew into a multimillion-dollar brand and realized that the more money I make, the more I work. And that I actually prefer this because my purpose in life is being met through my work! It took me years of doing more work than I’d ever done in my life to reach the point I’m at now and let me tell you — I work even more now.

But I’m able to do more of the things I love because of the hard work I do, and that is the key. You have to be willing to work harder than you’ve ever done before. We don’t want to work less — we want the freedom to do the things we love!

Listen to the massive wake-up call I had right before the launch of Buns & Guns that catapulted me back into the driver’s seat and back in control of my happiness and my quest for fulfilling my life’s purpose.

You definitely don’t want to miss this!

Love Kim xo

You are my new love Kim…! You are the kind of mentor that fits with my personality. I lost my Dad and dog within 3 days of each other in March this year. My dog was my soul mate but with four legs – not sure what I deserved to have such an amazing friend but he has gone – and losing my Dad at the same time – has been a big wake up call. Taking the photographs of myself just ran shivers through my spine. This is not the life I want. I want more than this. I want to sfeel strong.

I’m not sure which of the podcasts I was listening too (I love them all!) but it was the one about Ryan being a bit of snowflake when it comes to fixing the toilet and your dad going full out on the widget for the pram. I am an all out person but my sister. who I have been living with since my dad passed away, tells me I never think things through. I am a bull in a china shop with EVERYTHING….!

It got me thinking that maybe that’s where I’m going wrong in life, maybe in I need to change – but then I heard your podcast about getting shit done at 4.30am in the morning – that’s me. Maybe I don’t need to change maybe I need ro re-channel. There are others on the planet like me..(but with less body fat)…..! Yaaay….I have bought the 12 weeks shred and I’m all clued up on the food and supplements. I am a Vegan anyway so the food isn’t rocket science to me – joined a Gym – working out my goals and food plans this weekend and I am on my way to wearing a bikini this summer…! WATCH ME FLY…..! Thank you……xxxxxx

I am so honoured that you shared this with me. My love goes out to you on the loss of your best friend, and your dad. Loss is never easy love, and I hope you’re allowing yourself to feel the grief it’s the only way we can allow it to pass. 💕 Sounds like you’re tuned into the lessons of life at the moment, and taking the time to make sure you’re healthy and strong.

I congratulate you on taking those first steps, now the work begins. I have no doubt that you will reach your goals, and find the success you desire.

I’m sure you don’t need to change, you are perfect just the way you are. You just need to find your passion, your internal clock on what works for you, nobody else. This is all about YOU and I look forward to watching you fly! My coaches will take excellent care of you in your fitness journey. Feel free to tag me on IG in your process, I would love to see it!

      xoxo
