Is it Possible to Feel Depressed, Even When You Have Everything? Podcast Episode 53

Last weekend, I turned to my husband and said, “I feel depressed.” He turned to me, incredulous, and said, “You’ve just had a $500,000 launch, and you’re in the best physical condition of your life.” I couldn’t help feeling that he had a point. But nonetheless I felt depressed. So how can a woman who seemingly has it all get to a point where she feels depressed? And most importantly, how, when I feel like this, do I get myself out of it? My hope for this episode is that I can help you, should you ever look up and see a tall, dark wall looming in front of you. Let’s go.

I think if you are normally an optimistic person, the only things than can push you down the rabbit hole is being tired or being hormonal imbalanced, at least this is the case for me. Also I never thought of this before until someone brought to my attention, and that is, sometimes we enjoy the journey more than reaching the goal. High achievers often reach their goal and feel down because their brains quickly shift to what next. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts, I think you look amazing and are an inspiration, I love your authenticity ?❤️

I loved this podcast it brought up some amazing ideas. The first thought process that stuck out to me was how powerful it is to be able to stop, pause and choose what you focus on. That pivotal moment when some can identify a negative thought process or feeling and consciously say ‘I do not want to feel this way’ and switch focus by thinking about how others might be feeling and how to help other and in helping others help your self. Where focus goes energy flows… Resilience that is what this podcast was about… “between stimulus and response there is a space, in that space is our capacity to choose. Im that choice is our freedom and our growth” -Victor Frankl. That choice is what this podcast exemplifies to me and I something that I first heard from you on these podcasts. I have been someone who has struggled with depression at times and being exposed to this ideology has helped me to be a stronger person, a person that is more sure of myself, and has truly helped me to grow as a person. You are awesome Kim Constable keep rocking! Wishing you all the love and all the best from New York State, USA.
